Directions

Here's how you get to Sutherland Downs. But first…

 

Sutherland Downs is about 12 minutes from a medium-sized supermarket and

7 minutes from the well-stocked general store in Coomba Park. However, to allow you to only get in the car for fun reasons, we recommend doing a ‘Click and Collect’ on your way here. We have an abundance of fridge, freezer, and pantry space for you to use.

  • Take the M1 Motorway north out of Sydney, continue to the end, and turn right at the roundabout.
    



  • Then follow the signs towards the Pacific Highway, heading north over the Hexam Bridge.


     

  • Stay on the Pacific Highway until approx 2 km north of BULAHDELAH where you turn RIGHT off onto 
THE LAKES WAY, where a large sign indicates SEAL ROCKS, SMITHS LAKE, and PACIFIC PALMS.


     

  • This section of the trip takes approx 30 mins passing through beautiful forests and lakes on your way.

    


  • You will pass through Bungwahl, and past the turn-offs to Seal Rocks and then Smiths Lake before turning.LEFT onto COOMBA ROAD.
    Follow this road for 13.6 kms (should take about 10/12 minutes at the speed limit).
    



  • About 1 km after the Coomba Rd turn off, there is the Foodworks supermarket where you can pickup
most of what you need. You might want to drop in here.
    



  • The property is on the left-hand side (look for the fire hazard sign, the bend and the brick gates),
and turn in through the gates, up the driveway towards the house.

Coming from the North

(Brisbane / Taree)

  • Drive south on the Pacific Highway past Taree and continue to the
    turn off to Forster and The Lakes Way.
Pass through Tuncurry and
    over the bridge to Forster. Continue on this main two-lane road past Forster
Shopping Village on your left, through the roundabout into
    the one lane, and continue for approx 20 mins,
before turning right
    onto Coomba Road.
     

  • About 1 km before the Coomba Rd turn off, there is the Foodworks supermarket where you can pick up
